Narrative
The Challenge
A large U.S.-based industrial automation company required a complete learning and certification solution for a highly specialized smart-cart system used within data-center environments.
The product incorporated customized robotics and automation technology and represented a first-of-its-kind solution.
Because no standard learning content existed, technicians needed to be trained from the ground up before they could safely perform operation and maintenance activities.
The specialized nature of the equipment also meant that experienced resources were not readily available in the market.
The Digi-Safari Solution
Digi-Safari developed approximately 100 hours of customized self-paced learning content from scratch.
Working with experienced Digital Industrial subject-matter experts, the team created:

Many operating procedures required on-site video recording at the OEM factory so that every critical operation and maintenance step could be documented accurately.
All training content was reviewed and approved by OEM engineers before deployment.

The complete program was developed over approximately three months and hosted within the customer's LMS.
Digi-Safari specialists customized the LMS environment and supported the associated testing and certification processes.
